Whilst it is true that there are many disastrous things happening all over the world, the video below reminds us that there is always a positive angle that we can call upon to make us see the light and to inspire us to move effortlessly forward.
Gregg Braden inspires us to move away from despair and towards a positive outlook, something I feel many of us might need at this time.
As we move through our lives, we have been taught about competition and how to be the best. This is slowly becoming an outdated viewpoint.
The world will become a better place when we all start to work together and encourage each other to shine.
Collectively the human spirit can achieve great things and by working together we can improve the lives of many and the health of the planet.
It’s about Collaboration
Being in competition creates separatism and a fear of scarcity. There is more than enough for everyone, but the current system threatens us with loss.
Even from an early age at school, we are pitched against our peers, rated for our grades and ranked as the best and worst pupil.
In Montessori schools children are observed for their strengths and these strengths are then enhanced.
As Gregg says in the video, the collapse of an oil based economy will bring huge improvements to the planet and our lives.
I personally feel we have a lot to learn from our ancestors and by ancestors I mean great great ancestors. Those who walked the planet thousands of years ago. Whilst we needn’t go back to cave-man days, there is an amazing way to sustain humans on the planet by dialling back our need for resources and to live a more balanced lifestyle.
Currently our lives are filled with work, not to sustain our needs, but to fulfil our excessive desires and to pay taxes that are currently being spent in an un-sustaining way. The system is broken and the cycle needs to be interrupted.
Now is the time.
Many will feel a loss, but this will be a loss of ego and ‘luxuries’. Many people will try to hang on to outdated beliefs and cling to a dying system.
Only when we are able to let go and drop into the new world of collaboration and giving, will we ultimately find balance between all people on this planet; we will have created paradise on Earth.
